Reviewed July 25, 2014“We visited the restaurant based upon trip advisor reviews and it’s position on the quayside in Spinola Bay. The service was quick and efficient and the meal provided excellent value for money. We shared the mixed dips to start which were very tasty and an ideal light starter. My partner ordered the swordfish which was massive- two huge steaks and was very well cooked. I order the Maltese pasta beads with swordfish and octopus which was very tasty and unusual too. The wine was also very good and at a very reasonable price. We would definitely recommend this place!”
Reviewed July 24, 2014“A great restaurant, right on Spinola Bay. Grab a table outside for a wonderful view of the water and the colorful boats. The food is delicious. I highly recommend their octopus salad (Insalata tal-Qarnit) and their lemon sorbet, which is the best I’ve had in all my travels through Europe. Their pasta with rabbit sauce was wonderful as well.”
Reviewed July 22, 2014Invited my parents and parents of my partner, for a Sunday lunch to celebrate 2 of their birthdays, and must say we were all extremely satisfied by the efficient service and food. Upon arrival we were shown to our table which was as we requested, outdoors. I recommend booking outdoors, since it’s just by the waters edge in st Julian’s bay. We all started by sharing a variety of nibbles, which once again were excellent. Most of us had meat, but others opted for fish. I am a fan of Maltese cuisine, but this beats any traditional local food, (except my mums :))
Price was very reasonable considiering the amount of food and wine we had.
Will definitely return soon. Well done to all the team
